Vanderbilt basketball remained ranked in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll but moved down three spots to No. 21 after losing to Missouri and Tennessee. The Commodores fell to No. 25 in the AP poll.
The Commodores lost, 81-80, at Missouri on Feb. 18 and then 69-65 to Tennessee at Memorial Gymnasium on Feb. 21.
Vanderbilt (21-6, 8-6 SEC) has lost three of its last five games dating back to a home loss against Oklahoma on Feb. 7. The Commodores have strong metrics, at No. 16 in the NET, No. 13 on KenPom and No. 12 on Torvik. The NCAA tournament selection committee ranked Vanderbilt No. 14 and as a 4-seed on Feb. 21, but that was before the loss to Tennessee.
