Vanderbilt basketball moved up two spots to No. 18 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll after wins over Auburn and Texas A&M.
The Commodores (21-4, 8-4 SEC) rebounded from a home loss to Oklahoma by defeating Auburn, 84-76, and Texas A&M, 82-69.
These two wins came despite being without Duke Miles and Frankie Collins. Miles is expected to return within the next few weeks, while Collins is out indefinitely after suffering an injury in December.
Vanderbilt rates out better in the analytics than the polls, ranking 13th in the NET, No. 12 in KenPom, No. 12 in Wins Above Bubble and No. 10 in Torvik.
