The Auburn Tigers are still looking for their first win in the month of February. The Tigers lost to the Arkansas Razorbacks on the road Saturday, Feb. 14, 75-88.
Saturday’s loss marks the fourth in a row for Auburn, with their last win coming against Texas at home back on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 88-82. Issues of consistency have shown up on both sides of the court.
A major factor in the offense this season has been UCF transfer Keyshawn Hall, who has been missing now due to a disciplinary benching. Hall was benched early in the second half of the Vanderbilt Tuesday, Feb. 10. Coach Steven Pearl decided to indefinitely suspend Hall. The Tigers clearly lacked Hall’s production in their recent loss to the Razorbacks.
Defensively, the Tigers have seen some big games from some big names in the SEC. The ability to shut down a team’s main weapon has been absent from Auburn’s defense as the Razorbacks’ Darius Acuff Jr. dropped 31 points and shot 7-of-10 from the three-point line.

Auburn’s defense, after climbing in KenPom’s defensive rankings in January, has now just continued to slip, scoring a 104.6.
The Tigers are averaging 67.1 possessions a game with an average 17.2 seconds per offensive possession.
Overall, the Tigers rank No. 1 in KenPom’s strength of schedule.
