It will be a big day for Devin McGlockton in Lexington, per our college basketball betting picks.

The Vanderbilt Commodores look to secure a season sweep over the Kentucky Wildcats then they visit Rupp Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats ended a three-game losing skid with an unconvincing win over South Carolina, and now hope to exact revenge for a 25-point defeat in Nashville a month ago.
I explain why Devin McGlockton will make an impact in my Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky predictions and college basketball picks for Saturday, February 28.

Vanderbilt vs Kentucky best bet: Devin McGlockton Over 7.5 rebounds (-120)
It’s no coincidence that Devin McGlockton’s best rebounding games in SEC play have come against Alabama, LSU, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Georgia.
All six teams rank 250th or worse in defensive rebound rate nationally, and he’s averaged 9.8 boards against those programs. That’s nearly three rebounds higher than his season average.
The Kentucky Wildcats rank 287th in defensive rebound rate since January 1, and they’ve allowed double-digit rebound performances to an opposing big in four of their last five games.
McGlockton had a season-high 12 boards against Kentucky in Nashville, and will clean up again on Saturday.

McGlockton scored 11 points in that first matchup, despite not making a single shot from inside the arc. He buried three of his five attempts from beyond the arc and hit a pair of shots from the charity stripe.
He’s been more involved in the Vanderbilt Commodores offense of late, posting a usage rate of 20% or higher in four straight games. That’s led to him averaging 14.5 points with at least 11 points in each game during that stretch.

Jalen Washington also cleaned up in the first meeting as he grabbed nine rebounds in just 17 minutes. He leads Vanderbilt in both offensive rebound rate and total rebound rate in SEC play.
The Commodores lead the SEC in turnovers forced, posting a 16.3% rate in conference play. That defense, combined Kentucky’s inability to secure defensive rebounds, will once again spur Vanderbilt to victory.
Vanderbilt has hit the 1H Under in seven of its last eight games (+5.90 Units / 64% ROI). Find more college basketball betting trends for Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky.
