Kesean Bowman, one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2027 college football recruiting class, has narrowed his focus to five major programs – Ohio State, Alabama, Miami, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee. The 4-star recruit from Brentwood Academy in Tennessee was originally set to announce his commitment last month, but has pushed back the decision to take more official and unofficial visits this spring and summer.
Landing Bowman would be a major recruiting coup for whichever program secures his commitment. As a top-35 overall prospect and top-10 wide receiver nationally, Bowman has the potential to be an impact player at the college level. His recruitment has drawn interest from several powerhouse programs, underscoring the fierce competition for elite talent in the 2027 class.
Bowman plans to take official visits to Tennessee, Ohio State, Miami, and Vanderbilt, with an unofficial visit scheduled for Alabama. Tennessee is considered the hometown favorite, as Bowman is a Nashville-area native, but Ohio State, Miami, and Vanderbilt have all made strong pushes for the blue-chip wideout. Bowman has praised the coaching staffs and offensive systems at each of the schools he’s considering.
