Tanisha Wright continues to add to her squad at Penn State.
The Lady Lions added former Vanderbilt guard Ava Black as the second athlete on the 2026-27 team.

Black spent her freshman year with the Commodores, where she averaged 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. The 5-foot-11 guard shot 52.2% from the floor, including a career-best 12 points against High Point in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Auburn, New Hampshire, native played in 30 of Vanderbilt’s 34 games during Year 1, averaging 10 minutes per game.
Black joins incoming freshman Kamrah Banks as the only two players on Penn State’s squad.
