Tennessee’s win in Nashville was one of its most emotional of the season two weeks ago. Now the Vols are looking to complete the season sweep with a double-bye in the SEC Tournament on the line.
There’s a number of injuries to track for Tennessee in this game. Nate Ament is doubtful while Bishop Boswell is probable but also under the weather. Tennessee played well without Ament on Tuesday at South Carolina as they pounded the ball inside. The second game without a star player is always more challenging and while Vanderbilt does not have a great front line, it is better than South Carolina.
But Vanderbilt also isn’t playing great. They just have not been the same caliber of team over the last month as they were early in the season. I’ll say Tennessee gets it done in a close one.
