Ralph, the Vanderbilt women’s basketball coach, has long advocated for her player, Mikayla Blakes, as the best in the country. But her call intensified after an 86-70 win over No. 4 Texas (23-3, 8-3 SEC) on Feb. 12 in which Blakes scored 34 points, her fourth straight game with over 30.
