After Iowa women’s basketball announced on Tuesday morning that it will clash with Vanderbilt this upcoming season on Sunday, Nov. 15, in Sioux City, Iowa, many fans expressed their excitement and anticipation on social media for the Hawkeyes‘ additional premier nonconference contest.
The Hawkeyes finished last season with a 27-7 (15-3 Big Ten) record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Meanwhile, the Commodores finished with a 29-5 (13-3 SEC) record and advanced to the Sweet 16.
