Missouri basketball will take on No. 18/19-ranked Vanderbilt on Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena, one of three remaining games on the Tigers’ home floor this season.
Mizzou (17-8, 7-5 SEC) suffered a setback Saturday in its push for an NCAA Tournament berth, falling to fellow bubble team Texas.
The Tigers are now just outside of the 68-team field in most updated bracket projections, meaning Dennis Gates’ team needs a strong finish to the year to make the March Madness field.
Vanderbilt (21-4, 8-4) has won five of its past six games and is tied for third in the conference standings, one game ahead of Missouri. The Commodores started this season with 16 straight wins.
