Before he became Memphis football‘s coach, before he was marked by Nick Saban and James Franklin as a rising star in the industry, before he developed a reputation as one of the best recruiters in the country, Charles Huff was a pig farmer.
Huff grew up on a small farm in rural Maryland. His family had eight to 10 pigs at a time, and Charles helped out with everything. Even now, decades later, he can still remember how much a pig would cost and how much they’d sell for when they’d go into the market in town.
