The Auburn Tigers will close out a three-game homestand on Saturday when they host Vanderbilt for a key SEC showdown, which means it is time for another edition of the Auburn Wire Roundtable.
Last week, Auburn suffered its first loss of the season, a 44-39 loss to the Florida Gators. Auburn fought back to cut the lead to five points in the final minute after trailing by as many as 17 points in the second half. Auburn got off to a slow start offensively, and the defense struggled to get off the field on 3rd and 4th down. They aim to correct many mistakes from last week’s loss and shake it off with a win over Vanderbilt.
