Vanderbilt and Iowa football fans came together in Tampa, Florida, for the 40th ReliaQuest Bowl, leading to a spirited celebration that extended beyond the game itself. Festivities began with the ReliaQuest Bowl Parade in Ybor City the night before the game, where fans lined the streets to watch marching bands, performers and local groups fill the city with energy.

Ahead of kickoff, the celebration continued at the tailgate outside the stadium, where fans of both teams gathered to socialize, enjoy food and drinks and prepare for the matchup. There were many activities set up around the area, including merch stands and mock interview booths.
As kickoff approached, the fans flooded into the stadium to watch a highly anticipated football game that ended up being filled with many ups and downs for both teams. The feeling of adrenaline could be felt throughout the stadium as the roar of the crowd grew. The two teams battled hard on the field for the honor of winning the ReliaQuest Bowl. The Commodores had a slow start to the game, but a 41-yard field goal kick by Brock Taylor put them back in the game. Tre Richardson, Diego Pavia and Joseph McVay all scored touchdowns for the ’Dores in a well-fought game.
