Vanderbilt women’s basketball has had its game time announced for its opening-round game against High Point in the NCAA Tournament.
The No. 2 seed Commodores (27-4) will face the No. 15 seed Panthers (27-5) at Memorial Gymnasium on March 21 (6 p.m. CT, ESPNews) to open up its March Madness.
Other teams in Nashville are No. 7 seed Illinois and No. 10 seed Colorado. Those two teams will play after the conclusion of Vanderbilt’s game, which will be at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNews.
Vanderbilt is in the same region as UConn as Mikayla Blakes and Sarah Strong are the top contenders for major National Player of the Year awards.
