Sacha Washington remains day to day for Vanderbilt women’s basketball ahead of its Feb. 26 matchup against Alabama, coach Shea Ralph said.
There was one piece of good news for the Commodores (24-3, 11-3 SEC) as Washington participated in the team’s Feb. 24 practice, Ralph said.
Vanderbilt takes on Alabama (21-7, 7-7) at 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
Washington missed the team’s Feb. 22 win over Kentucky with an undisclosed ailment, the first time in her career that she has missed a game other than the 2024-25 season, which she missed due to a blood clot. Aiyana Mitchell started the Kentucky game in her place.
“She is day to day,” Ralph said. “She did practice today, though, so that was good.”
Washington averages 10 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in 2025-26 with a 57.1% field-goal percentage. She was one of four players honored as part of the Commodores’ senior day celebration, as she is out of eligibility after this season.
