Mizzou entered Wednesday night needing a win over No. 19 Vanderbilt. The Tigers saw a once-promising 21-point lead shrink to just one point in the final second. Vanderbilt’s Tyler Tanner was able to get one last shot away from half court off a Mizzou turnover that did everything but go through the net. Somehow, despite the major swing in momentum, the Tigers emerged victorious 81-80 at Mizzou Arena.
