Thanks to severe winter storms across the Southeast, the Commodores were stranded — first in Columbia, South Carolina, after suffering their first loss of the season on Jan. 25, then in Birmingham, Alabama, where they lost to Ole Miss in a game that was moved because of the ice storm in Oxford, Mississippi.
