Georgia football’s marquee SEC matchup at Alabama on Oct. 10 will be a night kickoff time, the league announced Wednesday, June 10.
The two-time defending SEC champion Bulldogs’ home game on Oct. 17 against Auburn will start between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. and the home game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 3 will be an early kick between 12 and 1 p.m.
The only new kickoff time is a familiar one for Georgia-Florida.
The rivals will play at 3:30 p.m. on ABC in Atlanta. That’s the same window the game has been played at in Jacksonville. The game is in Atlanta this season and Tampa in 2027 due to major stadium changes in Jacksonville.
No other TV networks have been finalized beyond the first three games of the season previously announced.
The Georgia-Alabama game will be “prime-time,” according to an ESPN release, even though night kickoff times are designated from 6 to 8 p.m.
Five of Georgia’s games are deemed “flex,” meaning they won’t kick off before 3:30 p.m.
That’s the SEC home opener against Oklahoma on Sept. 26, home games against Missouri and Georgia Tech and road games at Ole Miss and South Carolina.
Flex windows are for kickoff between 3:30-4:30 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. Kickoff times will be determined 6 to 12 days before the game.
The kickoff times and TV assignments for the first three games were previously set.
