The Philadelphia Eagles have only one unsigned draft pick left.
The Eagles have signed second-round tight end, Vanderbilt star and Mackey Award winner Eli Stowers, the franchise announced on Monday.
Stowers, who was selected No. 54 overall in the 2026 NFL draft, signed a four-year rookie deal worth $8.9 million.
With Stowers signed, the Eagles have seven of their eight draftees under contract. The only rookie still unsigned is third-round Miami offensive tackle Markel Bell.
Last year, Stowers was a first-team All-American and won the Mackey Award, given to the top tight end in college football. He had 62 catches for 769 yards and four touchdowns in 2025. His yards and receptions ranked first and second among FBS tight ends, respectively.
The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder is more than just a volume pass-catcher. He’s an athletic marvel, setting NFL Scouting Combine records for a tight end in the broad jump and vertical jump.
Stowers has to become a better blocker. The former Texas A&M quarterback is relatively new to the tight end position, so that should improve.
Stowers is viewed as a natural successor to Dallas Goedert. The 31-year-old veteran and Super Bowl champion is back with the Eagles on a one-year deal in 2026.
