Vanderbilt women’s basketball beat Kentucky, 84-83, in Lexington as Mikayla Blakes scored 37 points. It was the Commodores’ first road win against a ranked opponent this season.Both teams went on a few extended runs throughout the game. Framber Valdez came off the board last night on a three-year, $115MM deal (with deferrals) to pair with Tarik Skubal at the top of Detroit’s rotation. With 2:49 to go in the third quarter, Kentucky led by nine, and it looked like they might pull away to secure their third top 10 win of the season.
