FORT WORTH, Texas — The two words Cassandre Prosper used to describe her experience with Notre Dame women’s basketball were growth and gratitude. She embodied both of those things when it mattered most in the 6-seed Irish’s NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen win vs. 2-seed Vanderbilt Friday, March 27 at Dickies Arena.
First was the growth. Heading into her third trip to March Madness with Notre Dame, Prosper’s career-high in six tournament games was nine points.
