Jackson Lampley has been hired by Vanderbilt football as an assistant offensive line coach, he confirmed on social media Feb. 17.
Lampley graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, the same alma mater as Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea.
He was an offensive lineman at rival Tennessee under Josh Heupel from 2019-24. Lampley played in 52 games and was a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member.
His father, Brad, played offensive tackle for Tennessee and blocked for quarterback Peyton Manning under coach Phillip Fulmer.
After graduating from UT, Lampley began his coaching career as an offensive intern at LSU under coach Brian Kelly in 2025. Kelly was fired during the season.
At MBA, Lampley was a multi-time All-Midstate honoree by The Tennessean and a top-10 recruit in the Class of 2019.
In his senior season the Big Red went 10-3, winning a region title before falling in the Division II-AAA state semifinals.
