On this week’s episode of Live From West End, Sports Editor Henry Oelhafen and Sports Podcast Producer Tristan Rutman get things started by discussing Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball’s narrow home loss to Oklahoma before bouncing back with a big road win over Auburn. They preview the team’s game against Texas A&M on Saturday, then transition to some women’s hoops, where the Commodores picked up two ranked wins over then-No. 16 Kentucky and No. 10 Oklahoma. They preview a highly anticipated, top-5 matchup against No. 4 Texas in Memorial Gymnasium and a road contest against Georgia. The duo then debuts its inaugural baseball segment, breaking down the roster, predicting the starting lineup and previewing this weekend’s games. The episode wraps up as it always does with “Tristan’s Two-Minute Drill™,” where Henry and Tristan make their Final Four predictions for the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments.
