Vanderbilt Football Remains Nashville’s Hot Ticket – Vanderbilt Commodores

FirstBank Stadium sellout streak extends through Georgia State, LSU and Auburn games
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt University today announced that three upcoming home football games at FirstBank Stadium are sold out, riding a wave of enthusiasm in the Nashville community after the unbeaten Commodores debuted in the national rankings.
The latest sellouts include Saturday’s game against Georgia State, as well as games against LSU (Oct. 18) and Auburn (Nov. 8). After filling FirstBank Stadium for the home opener against Charleston Southern, with these additional sellouts Vanderbilt will have sold out nine of its past 12 games in its historic stadium dating back to the 2024 season.
Selling out multiple nonconference games represents another milestone. Prior to last season, Vanderbilt hadn’t sold out any nonconference home game since 2017.
Following last week’s 31-7 win at South Carolina, Vanderbilt entered both the Associated Press and American Football Coaches Association national rankings. After its first 3-0 start in eight years, Vanderbilt is ranked No. 20 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the coaches’ poll. Saturday’s game marks the first time since 1956 that the Commodores will take the field in September while ranked in the AP Top 25.
The Georgia State sellout comes in advance of next week’s dedication ceremony for the new south end zone facility, which welcomed fans for the first time during the home opener. Made possible by the historic Vandy United campaign, the reimagined south end zone features, among other amenities, six new premium seating experiences, a renovated concourse and all-new team store and new football locker room.
Vanderbilt’s game day information hub helps visitors get the most out of their FirstBank Stadium experience, while fans are still able to purchase single-game tickets for three other home contests this fall against Utah State, Missouri and Kentucky.
Fans still looking to purchase tickets for any of the next three sold out games can find them on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of Vanderbilt Athletics.
Saturday’s game against Georgia State kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU, for those unable to be at FirstBank Stadium.
