As Kentucky Football gets set to host the Vanderbilt Commodores, both teams have released their latest injury reports.
For Kentucky, linebacker Sam Greene was unfortunately listed as doubtful on Wednesday’s injury report, signaling he was unlikely to play this week. Now, Greene has been ruled out.
Wide receiver Nic Anderson, who was questionable on Wednesday, has now been ruled out, so that’s two starters who’ve been downgraded to out. Hopefully, both guys are able to return after the Wildcats’ bye next week.
Running back CJ Baxter, listed as probable on Wednesday’s report, is no longer on the report, so he’s good to go.
Linebacker Tavion Wallace is no longer on the report, so he’s set to make his return.
Defensive tackle Kalen Edwards is off the report as well.
Defensive end Tyler Thomas is still listed as questionable.
Long-snapper Cole Marszalek has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable.
Finally, cornerback Jaden Smith, linebacker Antawn Smith, and cornerback Grant Grayton remain listed as out.
For Vanderbilt, backup quarterback Blaze Berlowitz remains out.
Brian Allen Jr. is still listed as out.
Linebacker Josiah Broxton has been downgraded to out.
Safeties Dontae Carter and Devin Chandler are now probable.
Finally, defensive lineman Aaron Bryant, linebacker Jamison Curtis, offensive lineman Gunner Givens, defensive lineman Nikhil Jefferson, cornerback Jaylin Lackey, and wide receiver Kahden Smith are still out.
