Beat them.
So, we’re down to the final game of the 2025 season. Vanderbilt is 9-2 and has a chance to win ten games in a football season for the first time ever.
No, I did not have Clark Lea’s 2025 Commodores potentially winning more games than Jerry Stackhouse and Bryce Drew did in their final seasons as Vanderbilt basketball coach.
The opponent, as it always is: the Knoxville Buttchuggers, misidentified on official sites as the “Tennessee Volunteers.” Knoxville brings an 8-3 record in to this game.
Allegedly, Vanderbilt still has a shot at the College Football Playoff with a win, but Vanderbilt has had few other results go its way this week (though I currently have my eye on BYU, who is down 14-0 to UCF as I write this.) Have fun, expect to win.
