Join Staff-Letics 3v3 basketball league – Vanderbilt University

Vanderbilt University’s Staff-Letics Program returns for a second action-packed season of 3v3 basketball. This is your chance to join the league and play basketball while bonding with colleagues and staying active in the new year. This event is open to all staff, faculty and postdocs.
The league runs every Wednesday starting Jan. 21. There will be a double-elimination tournament at the VU Recreation and Wellness Center, with tip-offs at noon and 12:30 p.m. Each team can have up to five players present, but only three players can be on the court at a time. With game play set for 20 minutes of competitive action, you are sure to get a workout while having fun passing, shooting and scoring.     
Sign up online; registration closes Jan. 13.  
Signing up is easy. You can form a team with colleagues and sign up, or sign up as a solo free agent. Solo players will be matched with other teammates and teams. All staff, faculty and postdocs at the university are welcome regardless of skill level, gender or age. For more information on the 3v3 basketball tournament, please review these rules.   
Want to be part of the action without stepping onto the court? We need volunteers to help make the league a success. Opportunities include refereeing and keeping score to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Volunteering is a great way to support your colleagues, meet new people and enjoy the energy of the tournament.

Staff with valid Vanderbilt parking permits can park along Children’s Way behind the Recreation and Wellness Center, West Garage on 25th Avenue and 25th Avenue Garage.
