Longhorns Women's Basketball
On Thursday, the Texas women's basketball team will travel to Nashville for a showdown of significance with Vanderbilt.
Texas (23-2, 8-2) and Vanderbilt (23-2, 9-2) are respectively listed fourth and fifth in both the Associated Press rankings and USA TODAY Coaches Poll. This game and a matchup between No. 17 TCU and No. 12 Baylor are the only games on today's schedule that feature two ranked teams.

Texas is 4-2 on the road this season, but the Longhorns have yet to have a victorious visit to a ranked opponent's gym. Last month, Texas lost road games at then-No. 12 LSU and then-No. 2 LSU.
