NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) – Vanderbilt University has announced it has taken control of its NIL (name, image and likeness) efforts for its student-athletes.
Moving on from its previous third-party collective, Vandy has launched Anchor Advantage, a new internal organization that will fully absorb and build on the foundation created by Anchor Impact.

The new program will help student-athletes build their personal brand and connect with top companies and the community, according to the university.
Anchor Advantage will be facilitating brand partnerships, social media collaborations, speaking engagements, content creation, networking events, mentorships and more, for Vandy’s athletes.

“Anchor Advantage positions Vanderbilt to capitalize on growth evident in this fall’s historic football and soccer seasons, baseball SEC Tournament championships, surging men’s and women’s basketball momentum and more,” the university said.
