Vanderbilt football approached the transfer portal differently this offseason than last.
For the 2025 season, the Commodores looked to add experience, bringing in a litany of grad transfers. This offseason, Vanderbilt got younger. The reason could be because of five-star quarterback Jared Curtis’ signing. Curtis is the 247Sports Composite No. 1 recruit in the country. Vanderbilt took several transfers who have multiple years of eligibility remaining. And several of those players came from other SEC schools.
