Duke Miles and Frankie Collins remain out for Vanderbilt basketball as it is set to take on Oklahoma on Feb. 7, according to the SEC’s availability report.
Miles, who averages 16.6 points per game, will be missing his third game with the injury. He had a cleanup surgery on his knee but is expected to return this season. Collins averaged 7.8 points and 4.7 assists per game before his injury in December but hasn’t played since. Coach Mark Byington told reporters after a win over Ole Miss that Collins has been medically cleared to play.
Without both Miles and Collins, the No. 15 Commodores (19-3, 6-3 SEC) face a shorthanded backcourt. Tyler Tanner is the only other true guard on the roster who has seen significant playing time, with wings Mike James, Chandler Bing and AK Okereke having stepped in to play the ‘2’ at times.
Vanderbilt will face Oklahoma (11-12, 1-9) at Memorial Gymnasium on Feb. 7 (2:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network).
