Ole Miss women’s basketball will have a new date and time for its game against Vanderbilt.
The No. 17 Rebels (17-4, 4-2 SEC) were scheduled to play the No. 6 Commodores (20-1, 6-1) in Oxford on Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Due to icy conditions in Oxford caused by the winter storm, the game has been moved to Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, and will be played Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. CT.
Admission to the game will be free, and all seating will be general admission. The game will still air on SEC Network+.
Ole Miss said in a release that updated information will be sent to those who purchased tickets for the game once a final decision has been made on how it will be handled.
This is the Rebels’ third game that has been affected by the storm. Their Jan. 26 game against No. 15 Tennessee has been postponed to a later date that is yet to be announced. Their Feb. 1 game against Auburn was pushed back a day to Feb. 2.
The Rebels will face the Commodores over a week after their last game when they beat Missouri 82-61 on the road on Jan. 22. Vanderbilt will look to bounce back against Ole Miss after suffering its first loss of the season to South Carolina 103-74 on Jan. 25.
