BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – As parts of the south still recover from a devastating winter storm, the top 25 women’s basketball matchup between Missouri and Ole Miss is being moved to Birmingham.
No.5 Vanderbilt was set to visit No. 17 Ole Miss Thursday, but icy conditions have forced the schools to reschedule the game for Friday at Legacy Arena, according to the Southeastern Conference.

Due to inclement winter weather, @VandyWBB at @OleMissWBB, originally scheduled for Jan. 29 in Oxford, will move to Friday, Jan. 30 at 2 PM CT at @LegacyArena in Birmingham, Ala.

The game will stream on SEC Network+ with free general admission at the arena.
For anyone that purchased tickets to the game before the schedule change, University of Mississippi officials said they’re exploring what options they have.
“We are evaluating all available options and updated ticket information will be sent directly to those who purchased tickets once a final decision has been made.” officials at Ole Miss said. “No action is required from you at this time.”
Ole Miss had already postponed their home game against No. 15 Tennessee, which was scheduled for Monday, and moved their game against Auburn to Monday.
No date is set to make up the Tennessee game.
Vanderbilt is coming off a 103-74 loss to No. 3 South Carolina.
Tip off in Birmingham is set for 2 p.m. Doors at Legacy Arena open at 1 p.m.
